Travel Awaits
Travel Awaits is an online travel publication geared towards travelers aged 60+. My role at TA started as a college internship that turned into a full-time position because I was so essential to the team. I was responsible for managing the social media profiles of the brand as well as finding stock imagery to accompany all articles we published.
Social Media Management
I was responsible for curating and creating a mix of content for the Travel Awaits Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest pages. This included sourcing beautiful travel imagery, memes, quotes, and other travel-related content.
Photo Editor
My other main role at Travel Awaits was sourcing stock images for every article published. I would find cover images and crop them to the correct sizes, insert photography throughout the article as appropriate, and assist with proofreading articles and adding affiliate links as necessary. I also was responsible for adding ALT text for images and articles following SEO best practices.
