I volunteered as a moderator on DisneyMMO (previously known as VMKMagic) starting during my freshman year of high school. DisneyMMO is a now-defunct forum website that had over 60,000 regular users in its prime.
Chat Room Moderation
My primary role was moderator of the chat room on DisneyMMO. This included enforcing the Community Guidelines, removing problematic users, deleting harmful messages, hosting chat room games such as Disney Trivia and Chat Room Prankster, and making announcements about community events.
Forum Moderation
I also helped moderate the forums of DisneyMMO throughout my time on the team. I was responsible for enforcing the Guidelines by removing posts and users who violated the rules, making sure each post was labeled under the correct forum topic and moving things if necessary, and helping with community wide forum holiday events.
